On March 28, Iowans will join millions across the country taking to the streets as a movement against Trump, Project 2025 and the ultra right billionaire agenda! This day of action will be led locally by a growing list of partners and allies including Food & Water Action, PSL Iowa, DSA Central Iowa, Iowa AFL-CIO, Feed Des Moines, and WILPF Des Moines. Please fill out this form to volunteer at the march in downtown Des Moines, or to canvass on our campaign to end Iowa's water crisis at a No Kings 3 event in your area! We need volunteers on the ground in a variety of roles in Des Moines: Outreach/Welcome Team: Crowd canvassing people as they arrive at the Sculpture Park and after the march to the Iowa State Capitol Marshal/Security Team: Marshal along the perimeter of the crowd as we rally and during the march from the Sculpture Park to the Iowa State Capitol Art Marshal Team: Distribute, stage, and collect banners, signs, pickets, etc. during the protest Drum Team: Join a team of drummers who will help set the energy as we march from the Sculpture Park to the Iowa State Capitol - training and bucket drums will be provided! Accessibility Team: Gather with Iowans unable to march at the Capitol where we will all rally together! Health & Safety Team: distribute water/snacks, communicate with marshals and street medics if activists need further attention Press & Media Team: photographers, videographers, writers, content creators planning to attend in Des Moines We will also be supporting activists who are mobilizing at actions across the state to amplify our legislative campaign to end Iowa's water crisis and skyrocketing cancer rates!
