Seniors for the Constitution Seniors for the Constitution was organized by seniors insisting that their voice also be heard. When we organized in February, 2025, we quickly learned that Des Moines WA Indivisible was also being organized. We all agreed we should be collaborating on everything possible. While they hold Wednesday rallies, we hold Saturday rallies on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from noon to 2 p.m. Big Catch Plaza is a great place to gather for our family-friendly, peaceful rallies. Approximately 1600 people attended our first “No Kings” rally. Even more attended our second “No Kings” rally. The Waterland Blog (local news) frequently features our rallies. We are determined to appear on Rachel Maddow. Please join us and make YOUR voice heard as well. This a local Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
