What: Stop Starving Gaza: Protest Against the Genocide in Gaza When: Saturday, August 9, 2025, 9 – 10:30 am (also on August 16 and August 23) Where: Eastern Market, Detroit, MI. Meet at Russell and Winder St. Who/why: Members of Coalition Against Genocide and some 29 local organizations will march and bang pots and pans to call for an end to the starvation of the Palestinians in Gaza. Bring a bike: following the protest join Ride Against War on Gaza with 70-year-old Jewish cyclist (he is riding 4000 miles cross country for Gaza) for a short ride on Dequindre Cut/Downtown.
