Join us for an hour of action at Grand Circus Park in Downtown Detroit. Let's give the resistance in Detroit some good visibility, educate people about the democratic crisis we are deep in with flyering and conversations. We have banners, but feel free to bring your best sign! Make sure you come with water and a snack in your backpack, warm gloves, several layers of sweaters under your winter coat, long johns, scarf, and winter hat. Heated socks sound like a good idea too. On Sundays, street parking is free. If you cannot find street parking available near Grand Circus, we recommend that you drive up Woodward a bit, where you can park anywhere for free, then hop on the Q-Line (free too!) to Grand Circus. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
