This event is organized by NH Forward - www.nh-forward.com Strafford County Jail has been used for ICE detention for many years, but the number of detainees has escalated with trump 2.0. We plan to show up to say, No more ICE detention in NH! We'll show up with our signs to protest as local lawmakers and representatives gather for the delegates' dinner prior to the meeting. Strafford County Rep, and congressional candidate Heath Howard will also join us at the protest. If you are a Strafford County resident, we encourage you to join us for the ICE protest, and then to attend the Delegates' meeting where you can voice you concerns about ICE. (The meeting begins at 7:00 PM) A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
