Ethnic Cleansing in the West Bank: A firsthand account from Anas Abu Srour

The Dublin Branch of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign is honoured to host Palestinian activist Anas Abusrour on Thursday 18th September at 7.15pm in The Pearse Centre, 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2. Anas Abusrour is the Executive Director of Aida Youth Center, a community organisation in Aida refugee camp near Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. A respected figure in Palestinian society, he has played a key role in youth development and in fostering young people’s participation in social and cultural life. Anas has also been active in student organising and was imprisoned without charge or trial by Apartheid Israel for nine months in 2023–24. In this talk he will discuss his work with Palestinian youth, his experiences as a political prisoner, and provide an update on the situation in the West Bank, where ethnic cleansing continues and illegal settlers rampage while the world’s attention is focused on the genocide in Gaza. #FreePalestine #SolidarityIsAVerb #BDS #SanctionsNow #EndIsraeliImpunity
