Writers Against the War On Gaza (WAWOG)

Who Will Rise for Gaza

DUBLIN: Join us on Wednesday, November 26 from 7-9pm for a reading of the Two Year Edition of the New York War Crimes, featuring a panel discussion with NYWC contributors Abubaker Abed (@abubakerabedw) and Alaa Alqaisi (@alaaqalqaisi), moderated by Eoghan McNeill (@wereontheditch). Community members will read from the latest issue, including dispatches from Palestinian writers in Gaza and critical reflections on the past two years: the unconscionable loss and devastation, our martyrs, the failures of the movement, and the sacrifices we must make. The event will feature readings from members of WAWOG and Trinity BDS (@tcd_bds), and close with a conversation about the false 'ceasefire' and the current role of the Palestine solidarity movement. Suggested donation of €10 at the door. Proceeds will benefit Salah Shabat's aid efforts, providing steadfast communities with clean water and on the ground support in northern Gaza, in honor of his brother, the beloved martyred journalist Hossam Shabat. Posters, zines, and other printed materials will also be available for purchase. Read previous editions of the paper online at newyorkwarcrimes.com.
