Across the state—from the fruit fields in Goldsboro to classrooms in Durham, from cafeterias at Duke University to childcare centers in Raleigh— working people are organizing. Cuts to Medicaid, inadequate wages, attacks on our basic democratic rights, lack of public funding, ICE terror in our communities, endless wars abroad and a growing divide between the billionaires and the workers, means that this May Day we have to take a stand.
