ICE has conducted “strike raids” in South Minneapolis using Target parking lots as staging areas for detaining people. In one raid, ICE agents posed as rideshare drivers, detained a Somali father, and left his two young children alone in a car in freezing weather. This is an abomination. In solidarity with UnidosMN, there will be a caroling event at the Eau Claire Target store to sing, speak out, and break the silence around Target’s complicity. This action is about visibility, moral clarity, and reminding Target that our communities are watching.
