ICE Out of Home Depot Encinitas

National Day Laborer Organizing Network

Across the country, ICE agents continue to target immigrants in and around Home Depot stores — workers, customers, and surrounding communities. These raids are chaotic, violent, and sometimes deadly. Through its silence and inaction, Home Depot has become ICE’s passive partner. Every raid on its properties deepens fear in our communities. Our nationwide actions showed that people are paying attention — and now we must keep up the pressure. These atrocities are happening on Home Depot’s watch — on its properties, with its silence Home Depot has become ICE’s complicit partner. A core principle behind all events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events
