We’ll meet first at the office and then walk as a group to the public sidewalk on Lincoln Blvd. Bring your protest signs and a folding chair if you can’t stand for an hour or so. Consider a double-sided sign so that you can have one message for Issa and another for the motorists. We will have a food drive benefiting Interfaith Community Services in Escondido the last Friday of every month. They remind us that we aren’t alone and it feels good to be civically engaged. Action is the antidote to despair. We guarantee you will feel better about the state of affairs when you leave this event. Please note that there is a mental health services business in Issa’s office. Please allow a direct path the elevator for patients at all times. Refrain from banging on the glass doors as it has been reported to upset some of the patients. Please follow all posted rules and traffic laws when attending a rally. Safety is always our first priority. Safety patrol volunteers will be wearing bright vests - please comply with their requests at all times.
