International Women's Day Rally

Indivisible Eugene - Springfield

WE GATHER. WE BEAR WITNESS. AND WE RISE UP FOR THE CHANGE WE NEED! Please join us on March 8, 2026, for a rally celebrating the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day. There will be speakers, signs, information about current threats to women (and ways to take action), but also a celebration of the power, integrity, and promise that women continue to bring to our world. While women make up 49.7% of the world's population, the United Nations reports that women currently hold only 64% of the legal rights that men hold. And in the United States, where women make up 51% of the population, the country has still not managed to codify into law the Equal Rights Amendment of 1923. Let's gather in community to talk about these facts and more from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza, 799 Oak Street in Eugene. Bring signs (if so inclined), your voice, and a determined heart!
