NO KINGS: Fayetteville AR (hosted by Indivisible NWA)
No Kings
We have the power and are claiming it together. No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.
This peaceful, nonviolent action is hosted by Indivisible NWA.
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever.
When our families are under attack and costs are pushing people to the brink, silence is not an option. We will defend ourselves and our communities against this administration’s unjust and cruel acts of violence.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.
Our plans: We will gather at 9:30 a.m. on Highland Ave. near Dickson Street (east of Central United Methodist Church). About 10 a.m., we will march down Dickson Street to West Avenue, turn left (south) on West, and enter the Upper Ramble (the former Walton Arts Center parking lot) about midway between Dickson and Spring Streets. We'll be there rain or shine, but be weather aware. We will have trained marshals (peacekeepers) and volunteers to help you find your way. We plan to wrap up by 1:00 p.m.
By participating in this event, you voluntarily assume all associated risks. Indivisible NWA is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur.
Fayetteville Park Rules: The Ramble closes at 3 a.m. Private events are prohibited in The Ramble. No tobacco products are to be used in parks. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the parks without prior approval from Parks Director. No vending or peddling without prior approval from Parks Director. Vehicles must observe all posted signs. Park only in designated parking areas. Do not park on the park grass. No motorized vehicles are allowed within the park. Place trash in trash receptacles. No fires except in fireplaces or grills with approval from Fayetteville Fire Department. No camping is allowed in The Ramble. Observe City of Fayetteville noise control regulations. Leash and clean up after pets. Posting of streamers, signs, or posters is prohibited when adhered with tape or other sticky materials which remove paint from the pavilions, railings, and other structures. Inflatable jump toys and pony rides are prohibited.
If you need a ride or can share your ride, let us know. Be sure to include: (1) where you live and (2) whether you need a ride or have space to share. We’ll do our best to match you with someone nearby.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
