Friends of the Earth Melbourne's No More Gas collective is rebranding as the Energy Justice Collective, and that's as good an excuse for a celebratory picnic as any! If you're in Narrm/Melbourne, come and join us at Edinburgh Gardens on Wednesday December 10 to get the hot gossip on what we'll be campaigning on in 2026, and how you can be involved. Bring along: some mates, a cushion, bean bag or camp chair to get comfy with, and something to add to the picnic spread if you want! Why the name change? Don't panic! We're still totally committed to showing the gas industry the door as soon as possible - from getting every home disconnected from gas, to cleaning up the rusting oil and gas rigs in our oceans. Energy Justice is about the future we want to see beyond gas: a socially just energy system that serves people and protects our environment, instead of being designed to fill big companies' coffers.
