Coming to Light: KFTC Day at the Capitol

Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

We're bringing our collective light to Frankfort to shine the way for the Kentucky we know is possible. Members and allies will speak to the impacts of the legislation that's moving, and the legislation that should be moving in Kentucky. We're in a moment in Kentucky. Come hear what Black women, students, and educators are saying about it. Rally with us on April 8, 2026 at the Capitol, 11:00 eastern/10 central! We’ll gather at the Capitol steps at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time/10:00 a.m. Central Time on Wednesday, April 8, where we’ll hear members and allies speak about targeting legislation, with an emphasis on Black women, students, and educators, and celebrate our legislative allies. Next, we’ll hear stories that reflect what we wish we had learned in school about our history, stories that highlight the strength of our ancestors, and stories that highlight the power of diverse groups of people coming together to challenge and change systems of power. We’ll wrap up around 1:00 eastern.
