Art Sale for Gaza Scholars Fund 📆Sunday, November 2nd 🕛3-6pm 📍Hosted at Engage Art Studios Salthill, Galway H91 YCW9 Queers for Palestine Ireland West is organizing an art fundraiser for this Sunday, November 2nd to raise funds for the Gaza Scholars Fund which aims to support students in Gaza to study in Ireland. The long term goal for the fund is to fundraise enough money so that more and more students from Gaza can come to Ireland to study. The funds first target of €8000 is being raised for our dear friend’s sister and we are under time pressure to do so. We need to raise this money by early November, so time was of the essence for this fundraiser. The sale for this Sunday will have a wonderful array of small works for sale donated kindly by 20+ artists based primarily in Galway and Clare. Cards, prints, posters, drawings, paintings, textile pieces, mixed media, and more. Cash and revolut accepted! For getting to Engage Art Studios - it is on the 401 bus line, is about a 20 min walk from downtown, and there is street parking outside of it. The entrance is on the main street under an awning.
