Save Tuvalu, Save the World

"How would you feel if a country that is meant to help, to protect, is the one slowly destroying you?" In a new documentary, we spoke to Tuvalu resident and climate campaigner Gitty Yee who is experiencing the climate crisis first-hand, as sea water rise destroys traditional crops and is making water unfit to drink. Tuvalu’s low-lying islands and atolls could become unliveable within decades, and without urgent action, it is a fate that could be shared by other Pacific nations, and Indigenous people in the Torres Straight islands. Join us for the premiere events including a Q&A with Gitty: Sydney – Tuesday 23 Sept Canberra – Wednesday 24 Sept Melbourne – Thursday 25 Sept Free, link in bio to register.
