Indivisible

Hands Off Venezuela!

No War, No Overthrow, No Coup, No Sanctions! Join us for a Global Day of Action on Saturday, January 17, in solidarity with Venezuela, sponsored by a number of local and statewide groups. We’ll be on the Greenfield Common from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. We are calling for an end to U.S. hostility toward Venezuela, including sanctions, threats, and war. We also demand an end to the funding that allows such crimes and the release of Venezuela’s kidnapped President Maduro and Cilia Flores. U.S. pressure on Venezuela is escalating, risking another war for oil! We don’t need oil, we don’t want oil. We want more affordable housing, Medicare for All, union jobs, cheaper food, and, of course, why not, the release of the Epstein files. We’re hoping for a Latin American-style demonstration: Please consider bringing pots and pans to bang on! Sponsors and Coalition Partners Franklin County Continuing Political Revolution (FCCPR), Indivisible West Quabbin (IWQ), Climate Action Now (CAN) Western Mass, Veterans for Peace-Chapter 413, River Valley Democratic Socialists of America, Traprock Center for Peace and Justice, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, Anti-Imperialist Action Committee, and Massachusetts Peace Action (MAPA). See worldbeyondwar.org for more information about this international coalition for peace! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
