WOMEN IN BLACK HAMILTON: VIGIL FOR GAZA 🕊️ Saturday, March 14 | 10:30–11:30 AM 📍 Westdale (King St W. & Paisley Ave) 🖤 Please wear black 🌿 All gender identities are welcome ✡️ Jewish supporters are especially encouraged to join Women in Black began in Jerusalem in 1988, when Israeli and Palestinian women stood together in silent protest against the serious human rights abuse carried out by Israeli soldiers in occupied Palestine. Their courage inspired an international movement of women - dressed in black - who gather in public spaces to mourn all victims of war and call for justice, peace, and an end to militarized violence. In early October 2025, we launched a new chapter: Women in Black - Hamilton. This Saturday March 14 we will hold a vigil for Gaza, standing in solidarity with Palestinians and all who resist genocide, occupation, and oppression. #freepalestine #womeninblack #wib
