Our notoriously ill-informed Secretary of Health and Human Services, RFK, Jr. is hosting a "Make America Healthy Again" Rally in the Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday, January 21. Join us beginning at 9:30 am to say NO to his dangerous and unscientific policies. At 10 am, speakers, including Dr. Representative Tarik Khan, medical professional, from Philadelphia, will challenge and refute RFK's misinformation. Bring signs if you can, but some will also be provided. It will be cold, so dress accordingly! We'll try to stay warm by chanting and sharing handwarmers! Please understand that this is a counter-rally, and MAGA and GOP loyalists will be passing by and through our ranks to get to the Rotunda entrance. We must be sure not to block their passage. We are a PEACEFUL group and NO ONE IS TO ENGAGE WITH COUNTERPROTESTERS IN ANY WAY! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
