Pennsylvania Stands Up

TAX BILLIONAIRES FUND PA: Harrisburg Press Conference and Lobby Day

Pennsylvanians are struggling. Groceries, rent, childcare, and electricity keep getting more expensive, but our paychecks barely budge. Public necessities like schools and hospitals are underfunded and facing major cuts, making it harder and harder for regular people to afford a decent life. It doesn’t have to be this way. We can raise billions of dollars, stop the cuts, and make life more affordable. Community and labor organizations are launching the Tax Billionaires, Fund PA campaign to raise billions of dollars for our state. We are inviting members of the community, advocates, workers, faith leaders, small-business owners, and allies from across the state to attend a press conference demonstrating broad, statewide support that Pennsylvanians are united in demanding a fairer tax system. This press conference is about drawing a clear line: standing with working people and families who carry the burden of our tax system versus protecting billionaires and corporations who have benefited for too long from loopholes and special treatment. By showing up together, we are demonstrating that communities across Pennsylvania are paying attention, organized, and prepared to hold decision-makers accountable. After the press conference, we'll be meeting directly with legislators to lobby for their support in our demands, making sure our voices are heard in the halls of power. Our collective presence sends a strong message that tax fairness is not a niche issue—it is a shared demand rooted in economic justice, dignity, and the well-being of our communities.
