Central Westchester Indivisible (CWI) is part of a nationwide group of Indivisible chapters and many other organizations fighting to protect our rights and to stop and reverse the Trump administration’s damage to society. Thank you for being a part of that fight! We are asking people to line the sidewalk in front of Richard Presser Park in Hartsdale, NY for a peaceful protest. Bring a sign (a folding chair if you want). Bring the kids, bring friends. We are hoping to meet regularly on Sundays, but for now we are just scheduling this one rally and will then schedule for more dates in the future. A note about parking – there is a parking lot in the park on Central Park Avenue at the south end of the park. Also, NO metal or wood poles – please. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
