No Kings
NO KINGS - On the Metro from Herndon to DC Together
In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
Join with Defend Democracy Indivisible for a Metro Rally to the main NO KINGS 2.0 Rally in DC. We will take the Herndon Metro to DC together.
There are two options. The first is to join with other Indivisibles to walk across Memorial Bridge. (1.8 miles).
The alternative will be to stay on the metro and get off at the main site for the DC rally. There will be an organizer for both groups.
Whether you walk across the bridge or Metro the whole way – JOIN US!
We will meet up at Herndon Metro, on the Train Platform – where the Last Car stops at 10:00 to rally and then get on the train together.
Marchers will change metro at Rosslyn for the Arlington Cemetery Metro Stop. The others will stay on the Metro and get off at the Smithsonian.
The ultimate destination is the DC Rally at #2 15th St NW Washington, DC 20004 from 12:00 – 3:00.
Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
