HOOKSET, NH *** May Day Strong - Workers Over Billionaires!

Indivisible

This event is organized by New Hampshire Forward, https://www.nh-forward.org/may-day The billionaires are fleecing our nation. Taking everything while our families and neighbors struggle to put food on their tables. And now the people say, No More! On May 1st we unite across this country to demand that the filthy rich pay their fair share! May 1st is International Labor Day, which commemorates the worldwide strikes that gave people 8 hour work days and helped stop brutal worker exploitation. This year we'll take to the streets to continue the work of the generations that came before us to end the oppression and exploitation perpetrated by the billionaire-class! Join us in Hookset NH where we'll gather to march and demonstrate to demand that we TAX THE RICH, and that we throttle their insatiable greed! Together we will be flexing our collective muscle in a tremendous day of power - showing our unity through a day of marches, rallies, and actions including No Work - No School - No Shopping! Where to Meet This protest event will take place at the Hookset shopping plaza (Target, Home Depot and Amazon Warehouse). We'll rendezvous in the parking lot behind Great Clips at 3:00 PM for a loud march, followed by protesting on the street. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
