🚨🚨PROTEST the BOARD OF REGENTS MEETING at the HILTON, NOV.20TH 🇵🇸 The Board of Regents meeting is where UH investments are decided by the governing body of the UH system, as the university allocates its funds into companies complicit in genocide and war. A year ago, at last November’s BOR meeting, we were illegally barred from entering the meeting room and, this past February, were accused of trespassing on our own campus during our Feb 19th Strike for Divestment. To the university and its administration, to Renu Khator and the Board of Regents; your attempts to ignore us will be in vain. UH has tried countless times before to repress and silence us in our efforts for divestment, as we work to raise awareness about the Palestinian cause. But this has and will remain futile. The student movement continues to grow, and the Palestinian cause strengthens day by day as more and more people become aware of the tyranny that institutions like UH partake in by supporting genocide and investing in arms and weapons. We are expected to continue in silence and surrender to the corrupt regime of the ruling class and the genocidal settler colony of israel. Even as it occupies, bombs and destroys Palestinian land, with the US’s backing of israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestine. We refuse to exhibit the same weakness and cowardice the university administration displays by remaining under the foot of zionism in its ignorance. We REFUSE to submit to the oppressive forces that seek to repress us, and we WILL hold the line and continue to fight for a free Palestine. Until Divestment. Until Liberation.
