Indivisible

Show UP! Speak UP! Rise UP! Rally

The Trump Regime has started off the new year with: ~Kidnapping the head of Venezuela and declaring that the US will be running that country. ~Stating that they may target Greenland, Mexico, and Columbia for invasion. AND ~I.C.E has murdered a US Citizen in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Unfortunately, fascism does not care what time of year it is - it will continue to tear apart the current government, even with snow on the ground and cold temps in the air. Last we checked, Yoopers are hearty and know how to dress for the cold. Pull out your thermals, mittens, winter coats, hats, and gloves, and join us! Pop-Up Rally against Fascism Saturday, January 10th: 11am-12pm US-2 Public Parking Lot behind West Iron District Library, Iron River Dress warm and protest against the attacks already taken by the US Regime in 2026. Bring your own sign dissenting against the actions of Trump and the regime. Possible sign themes: - Kidnapping of Venezuelan President Maduro, - Potential invasion of Greenland, Columbia, and Mexico - Loss of childcare funding, - Kidnapping of undocumented immigrants, Attack on Transgender folks and the LGBTQ+ community, We’ll continue our local mutual aid action with a food drive at this pop-up protest. Please bring a shelf-stable, unexpired food/pantry item for our local food banks. Cash donations for the county mobile food pantry will also be accepted on the day of the protest. This is a local Indivisible event! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
