Free America Walkout and Rally will be conducted on Tuesday, January 20th 2026 at 2:00pm local time across the entire nation. This consists of three main components: 1. Labor walkout at 2:00pm nationwide. 2. Public rallies held in conjunction with walkout. 3. Economic blackout for the remainder of the week for the usual corporate sponsors of fascism. This marks the one year anniversary of the fascist takeover of the United States of America and is a call to action to flex our economic power in the lead up to general strike. We will be demonstrating in the Jackson Town Square starting at 2:00pm. There’s a nasty bug going around called fascism….so it’s best to take a sick day on 1/20 at 2:00pm and come join us on the square to make sure you don’t catch it. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
