Ground Avelo Protest W/ Indivisible Southside

Join Indivisible Southside on Wednesday, January 14th for a Stop Avelo visibility protest! We’ll be on the Connors Street Pedestrian Bridge, holding massive banners and signs during rush hour so drivers on I-95 can’t miss our message. Avelo Airlines has become the first commercial airline to contract with ICE for deportation flights — flights conducted without guarantees of due process or access to legal counsel. We are organizing nationwide to make it politically and publicly impossible for Avelo to keep profiting from human rights abuses. Banners are already provided, you can just bring yourself or you can bring your own sign large enough for car visibility. Bring a friend and join Indivisible Southside as we take a stand for justice and human rights. 📅 These Stop Avelo protests occur monthly. 📲 Text RESIST to 844-441-0358 to get updates about the next local Avelo protest. 📸 Follow us on Instagram: @IndivisibleSouthside Parking Details: Drive to Connors Street, near its intersection with Springfield Road. Parking attendants will be stationed by the pedestrian bridge to direct you to the designated parking area. You may access the Connors Street Bridge via the pedestrian entry. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
