Here We Stand: Saturday Protest Series
✊ HERE WE STAND: Saturday Protest Series
📍 Location: Protest Corner — State of Franklin & University Parkway (east side, same area as No Kings Day)
🕰 Time: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
We’re launching a new weekly protest series — created to engage working people who can’t join weekday actions. Each Saturday, we’ll take a visible stand for democracy, fairness, and justice. Bring your sign, your energy, and a friend — let’s build a strong, steady weekend presence!
Weekly Protests Work!
Every Saturday, 11:30-1:00.
Parking:
Park for free across the street in ETSU's parking lot. This is free and available to the public on the weekend. After parking, simply cross the street over to Protest Corner (on the McDonald's side of the street).
DO NOT PARK at McDonald's, Alumni Hall, or other businesses that are open on Walnut St.
💥 Why We Stand
The HereWeStand Protest Series continues our organization’s legacy of peaceful, visible action. We stand for democracy, accountability, and the rights of all people — and we do it together.
"HERE I STAND. I CAN DO NO OTHER." Martin Luther
Each week, we remind our leaders and our neighbors:
Here we stand — for truth, for fairness, and for one another.
