This a local Indivisible event sponsored by Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia This event is a street rally. Protesters with a variety of signs and flags line up along the sidewalk of a busy street. We wave at drivers, smile at the supportive honks, and talk with fellow protesters. All signs provided. We provide water but be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat. At our protests, you are among friends, and the atmosphere is friendly and progressive. Southern Cresent Indivisible of Georgia works with 9 counties. We are a diverse, dedicated, and volunteer group of individuals who believe in a real democracy—of, by, and for the people. We are concerned with the impact of recent changes in our government and on the impact to our counties A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
