Zine Release Party: Kvinde Kend Din Pik
The Pond
We’d like to invite you all to celebrate the launch of Kvinde, Kend Din Pik with us!
KKDP is a zine about transfem bodies, featuring art, science, and philosophy. We wanted to give a voice to our community’s own experiences with our bodies, in a time when everyone seems to have an opinion about us ready. These are some ‘missing pages’ from works about women’s bodies, that tell part of the story of transfem existence that non-transfem audiences often miss out on.
The launch will be at The Pond on February 28th, 15-17h. We can’t wait to share everyone’s works with you. And there will be free cake!
Four of the contributors will be reading out their works:
Ada Ada Ada - Testikler der ikke ville hjem
Jules Strange - Mere og mere
Freja P. - A critique of the sex-gender-sexuality model and a humble proposal for a new system of thought
Paige - Noget om kusse
Copies of the zine will be available for sale on a sliding scale of 100-150 kr. Profits will be donated to Trans Harm Reduction, a grassroots non-profit that improves safety of DIY HRT.
