Kansas City, MO May Day 2026: Workers Over Billionaires

May Day Strong

On May Day, International Workers' Day, working people are rising up across Missouri and across the country — No Work, No School, No Shopping! When we show up in the millions on May 1 and flex our collective economic power, we will win: Workers over billionaires! End ICE terror and keep families together! A democracy that works for ALL of us! Most of us get up every day to earn the bread and roses all working people deserve. But more and more, we aren't seeing the fruits of our labor. Bosses hold down our wages. Bigoted politicians turn us against each other to steal away our freedoms. Billionaires win, while we lose. We can't afford to stay divided and defeated. We make America work. This country belongs to us, not a fascist regime. If we want to take America back, we're going to have to do what we've always done as working people: Come together, use our strength in numbers, and take bold action to get things done together that we can't get done on our own. We are joining thousands of organizations for a day of disruption in cities across the country, because when billionaires break every rule, it will take more than a rally to stop them. After you sign up, spread the word to your friends, family, and coworkers. Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
