How to Have Hard Conversations

Are you asking yourself whether you can talk about Palestine with friends and family this holiday season? Are you enraged by Israel's genocide in Gaza and looking to build conversational tools for change with people outside the movement? Rather than avoid gathering with our families, we want to talk to our loved ones about Palestinian liberation, holding the tragedy of the ongoing genocide while equipping ourselves to potentially move our Jewish loved ones toward solidarity with Palestinians. During this workshop (RSVP link in bio), we will ground ourselves in the grief and rage of witnessing and fighting against genocide for the past two years, unpack difficult issues together as a community and equip ourselves to talk to our loved ones at the Thanksgiving table about Israel and Palestine, Zionism and Israeli apartheid, the current ceasefire and the work yet to do to secure a safe and liberated, shared future for all. As Jews who believe passionately in Palestinian liberation and the sacredness of all life, our responsibility in this moment is to reach out to, bring in and organize other Jews, including those who may not yet share our politics, may feel confused, or may have familial ties to Israel. It’s time to collect our cousins. RSVP: https://actionnetwork.org/events/liberating-our-thanksgiving-tables-how-to-have-hard-conversations-about-palestine-israel/ Questions: [email protected]
