Shabbat gathering

KANSAS CITY-Jewish Voice for Peace Kansas City invites new and old members and member-curious alike to a Shabbat gathering, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet members of our group and get grounded in what we can all do in this moment. This is a space for all to join in the traditions of Shabbat while building Jewish community in solidarity with Palestinians. Come learn about our vision of a shared future with liberation, justice and equality for all. We look forward to getting to know you and plugging you into our efforts! It is more important than ever that the Jewish community stands in solidarity with all oppressed peoples. Now is the time to take action for the safety and well-being of all. If you’ve been searching for a political home for Jews on the left during this perilous moment; if you’ve been wanting a Jewish community with justice at the center; if you’ve been looking to turn your rage and grief into meaningful, strategic action—this is the place for you. You belong here.
