Northwest Indivisible
Push Home Depot to resist ICE
We are planning a sign wave, whistle and flier distribution at the Hawks Prairie Home Depot on Marvin in east Lacey on Saturday, Jan 3rd,starting at 11am. We will be there until we force Trump to resign or about 2 hours. Which ever happens first. The Home Depot continues to allow their parking lots to be raided by ICE. We want to encourage people to shop elsewhere to push Home Depot to help protect their neighbors, employees and customers.
Protest Location Details
We will meet at the entrance to the shopping area off Marvin Rd. Marvin is a busy street with lots of traffic. Plus, it has a stop light so people will be stopped and can read our signs. At that entrance we will catch shoppers for all the retail stores in that area.
Distributing Whistles
We will be handing out Resistance Whistles at this protest on January 3rd. If you have been following the news of the resistance in other cities everyone has found that a simple whistle can be a useful tool.
Building Rapid Response Team
Part of the goal of Northwest Indivisible is to build an email list we can use to alert a large number of people about a quick protest. Is ICE forming up to raid a public school? Has some dramatic thing just happened in the news? Has the National Guard just been dispatched to interfere with an election? Even a primary election? The insanity of this regime is capable of more than we can imagine. So we are trying to be ready for whatever they come up with.

Make a nice sign
We are encouraging anti-Home Depot signs but of course ALL signs are welcome. There is so much to protest these days! We will have a couple of signs to loan people but not many. If you want to make a nice fairly high quality “ICE OUT OF HOME DEPOT” sign open the link below for instructions and graphics to help you make a quick sign. It is a 5 page PDF file. The first page is instructions. Just print pages 2 to 5 and tape them to cardboard to make a nice sign!
