Stand Up Saturday: Theme TBD
Indivisible Las Vegas
This week, we’ll continue to stand up with Minnesota. The state has been invaded by a rogue Federal government. They are unleashing chaos and violence on the streets, intensified by the murder of Renee Good.
Minnesotans have continued to stand tall and peacefully protest and push back against this tyranny. A judge has ruled that ICE must discontinue its illegal and unconstitutional actions against protestors, but that’s unlikely to stop them.
We must continue to stay loud and let our local elected leaders know that they have the power to create state actions to protect us from ICE. United acts of peaceful noncooperation are the only way we can topple fascism.
Join us in solidarity. (And bring a friend!)
Meet us on the Charleston sidewalk in front of Baja Fresh with your best signs.
We'll have music, free water, and extra signs.
Please park in the main parking lot at Boca Park.
RSVPing is not required but appreciated.
A core principle behind all Indivisible Las Vegas events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
Protestors must also abide by Metro rules regarding protesting.
