We will be discussing what is commonly thought of as the two pillars of Marxism, Historical and Dialectical Materialism , with an emphasis on the Base-Superstructure paradigm as a tool for political analysis. After the meeting we will have a discussion period with event attendees as to what direction the group would like to go in, that is, what topics you’d like to see covered in a Marxism 102 , and or if splintering off into a reading group would be preferable.
