We will be going over what socialism means and its basic juxtaposition with principals of capitalism, and do an overview of the pamphlet, ” Socialism Utopian and Scientific,” by Friedrich Engels, one of the founders of modern scientific socialism. This is a volunteer led event and we want to encourage as much discussion and questions from any event member, on the basis that it helps us unlearn undemocratic participation in education and in broader society.
