May Day is internationally recognized and has been celebrated by Labor movements around the world to demand increased worker rights and protections. Over the last few years, it has grown to support the immigrant rights movement to demand protections for immigrant workers and their families. Immigrant justice is about the dignity of humanity and the right to belong. These are not separate fights—they are one movement against exploitation, exclusion, and authoritarianism. This year, national movement leaders and coalitions are using May Day to declare that it is workers over billionaires and ICE out of our communities!
