Film Screening | From Ground Zero

Upper Valley For Palestine

Join UV4Pal and JVP at the Kilton Public Library Community Room on Feb 9 for a free screening of “From Ground Zero” (2024). The film is an anthology of short segments from 22 Palestinian filmmakers living through the Genocide. “Using a blend of animation, documentary and fiction, they create a powerful testament to the steadfastness of the human spirit” Doors will open at 5:30, and the film will start at 6 PM with a group discussion to follow. Light refreshments will be on hand, and you will hear about ways to plug into our ongoing work, such as our campaigns for Apartheid Free Communities in Vermont towns. Visit our Free Palestine Library to learn more about the history of the struggle. We will be taking canned food donations for The Haven and raising funds to help the people trying to survive the winter in Gaza.
