Finding Kean Fridays
This group has visited Jr’s offices regularly since mid-March 2025, and as more people are being hurt by cuts to healthcare, Veteran's benefits, and more, folks are waking up to the reality that our elected official has failed us. We are speaking out against an authoritarian regime that bows to billionaires, while removing important, life-saving and life-sustaining government services from the weakest citizens.
Join fellow NJ - 07 constituents for a weekly gathering at Jr's district office in Lebanon, as we work to #FindKean.
WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO STAND UP WITH US NOW.
📢📢On Friday 6/6/25, we were met with a police presence where we had to negotiate parking and rally terms. 📢📢
📢📢On Friday 6/20/25, we were met by a property manager who used his truck to intimidate our volunteers from walking through the parking lot. WE WILL NOT OBEY IN ADVANCE. 📢📢
When you join us, please note:
📢📢DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT WHERE JR’S OFFICE IS. IF YOU DO, YOU RISK BEING HARASSED BY THE BUILDING SUPERINTENDENT. ALSO, DON’T WALK ACROSS THE PARKING LOT TO GET TO THE GRASSY AREA (SEE PREVIOUS SENTENCE.)
📢📢PARK EITHER:
• IN THE MARRIOTT PARKING LOT AND WALK ALONG COKESBURY ROAD TO RALLY ON THE GRASSY HILL,
• OR ACROSS RT. 22, WHERE THERE IS A PUBLIC LOT (YOU CAN PUT THE LEBANON POST OFFICE 1271 US HIGHWAY 22 LEBANON, NJ 08833 INTO GPS). THERE IS A TRAFFIC LIGHT WHERE YOU CAN SAFELY CROSS, OR SIMPLY STAY ON THAT SIDE WITH SIGNS

For those who will rally on Rt. 22, please note the following:
-- There is just a grassy hill between people and traffic on the side where Jr’s office resides
-- Prepare for the weather - rain gear, boots, tick spray, sunscreen
-- Hydrate: drink water
-- Remember that we practice peaceful resistance; we should not engage if there are counter protesters. Here is a link to a Visibility Brigade Training Slide Deck. Please review it for de-escalation tips and techniques. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/12iKYt_Fv1J5KqpoYwrgjvANgG9Re-4rlbBKqm5evpfM/edit?slide=id.g34533dff069_0_0#slide=id.g34533dff069_0_0
Whether you speak from the heart or bring hard-hitting facts, you deserve to be heard, and to hear from your elected official. Be respectful of staff’s time, and that of your fellow constituents who are waiting. Many Fridayers find it helpful to focus on one or two current issues.
· If you are addressing a Congressman’s vote or challenging his position on the issues, a personal story makes a difference.
· Leave a letter at the end of your visit if you like; the staff must log and respond to all letters.
A thank-you and a polite tone always are a must.
Come for five minutes or stay for an hour.
