On Monday 30th March 2026, Israel passed a law which would sentence Palestinians in the West Bank to the death penalty by default if they are found guilty of deadly attacks against Israelis. Israelis who commit deadly attacks against Palestinians will not face the same punishment. The conviction rate for Palestinians in the West Bank is 99.74% whilst for Israelis it is 3%. Israel does not have the right to enforce laws on the West Bank. This is apartheid.
