Nakba Week 2026 A Fundraiser for the Palestine Music Space

Artists for Cultural Freedom

We return in May with a fundraiser for the Palestine Music Space in Ramallah, Palestine. The event is in collaboration with @ahmedeidmusic , @kinda.page , @unfoldingjourneys.openmic and @mera25ost , who are hosting this year's Nakba Week concert in the NSL Basement. In commemoration of the countless victims of the ongoing Nakba in Palestine and in continued resistance to the endless atrocities committed by the occupation forces against civilians, we will continue to speak out and raise funds and awareness through cultural resistance against the empire- because we truly believe that no one is free until everyone is free! Focusing on Palestinian and Arabic diaspora musicians, artists, performers, poets, and merchandise, Artists for Cultural Freedom is committed to amplifying Palestinian voices, standing in full solidarity with all those who have been systematically silenced in Germany. This year, the funds raised will support the Palestine Music Space in Ramallah. Founded and managed by Ahmed Eid, this project provides rehearsal spaces and music education to local Palestinian youth, enabling them to express themselves freely and authentically. Ahmed Eid and his band will also be performing as part of their Europe tour, featuring the new album "Min Gaza la Baghdad, Min Haifa la Beirut". We look forward to welcoming you back on Saturday, 16 May. Unfortunately, as you know, it is still very difficult to find venues in Leipzig that support Palestinian liberation. Our venue has limited capacity, so we recommend purchasing a ticket in advance. And, as always, #FreePalestine! 🇵🇸
