🚩 The next round of the 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 series (April 10, 6pm) centers the experiences of large solidarity movement building by bringing the voices from the Palestinian-led 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭, 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐁𝐃𝐒) 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚. We are pleased to bring into conversation a ship captain 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐢ć and 𝐅𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐤𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧, the European co-coordinator for the Palestinian BDS National Committee. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐃𝐒 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 coordinates the global BDS movement, organizing boycotts, divestment and sanctions to challenge international complicity with Israeli occupation, apartheid and ongoing violence against Palestinians. Through targeted campaigns, BDS has achieved growing impact—from embargo calls to university divestments and investment bans—across economic, academic and cultural spheres. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, comprised of 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚, 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 and 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, has announced its journey aiming to break the siege of Gaza and to deliver aid to Palestinians exposed to killings, starvation and further colonial erasure. Starting mid April with around one hundred ships, from Barcelona and then Sicily, the flotilla will attempt to establish a civilian managed maritime corridor ensuring the continuous flow of aid and material to be used for the early reconstruction of essential infrastructure. Moreover, the flotilla will carry doctors, nurses, eco-builders, war crime investigators, civilian protectors and many others who aim to disembark at the shores of Gaza and support the Palestinian life and resistance.
