Indivisible
We Resist!
Join us on Saturday, October 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a peaceful demonstration.
We resist authoritarianism in America. We resist the dismantling of our public services. We resist the desecration of our laws. We resist the imposition of a unitary executive, which is just another term for "dictator." We encourage our representatives, business leaders, academic institutions and other centers of power to resist letting America to slip into a despotic regime.
Get involved, make a sign that speaks for you and stand with us.
The rally will be held on the sidewalks radiating from the intersection of West Bowles Avenue and South Santa Fe from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bring your cell phone and water and plan for the weather. We notify the Littleton Police Department and South Suburban Fire and Rescue to help us assure your safety.
A core principle behind all INDIVISIBLE events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential agitation or confrontation.
Additional Information
This is a peaceful demonstration on Saturday, October 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the public sidewalks radiating from the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and West Bowles Avenue. Please find a location along the sidewalks as you arrive.
To ensure the safety of everyone concerned, and preserve the peaceful nature of the demonstration, everyone should plan to help de-escalate if provoked. If counter-protesters show up, don't engage with them. If there are issues with counter-protesters, let your Line Host (yellow vests) know right away and let them deal with the situation.
We have taken precautions to assure your safety. The Littleton Police Department and South Suburban Fire and Rescue have been informed about our event, including the numbers expected, event details, specifics on the location, and our totally nonviolent expectations. In the unlikely event police presence will be required, please bring your cell phone to document events and/or call your personal support contacts.
We CANNOT block public right-of-ways, including sidewalks and roads. We MUST use crosswalks. We MUST stay on public sidewalks and allow pedestrians or bicyclists to pass. Keep movement across streets to a minimum, and use crosswalks. Do not stand on the medians, or interfere with the flow of traffic. Be considerate of merchants - we want them to see us as potential customers, rather than pesky protesters.
Please stay out of the streets and back from the curb, Be sure your signs, banners or flags do not hang beyond the curb. Always face oncoming traffic and be alert to the ebb and flow of vehicles. Do not impede vehicles or interfere with drivers' vision. Have an escape plan… just in case.

“Peacekeepers, or marshals, are the quiet stewards of safety and coordination in the streets. They help keep our movements organized, our people protected, and our message clear. They are not bosses, not enforcers, but facilitators — trying to ensure that our protests remain spaces of courage, care, and collective power.”
Corner Captains and Line Hosts will be wearing yellow “Indivisible” vests. They are there to answer questions, check on participants’ well-being, collect trash and remind you to stay on the sidewalk (off the grass and definitely not on the street or medians). Inform Line Hosts immediately if you have questions or need assistance.
Be prepared. Check the weather forecast. Think layers! Bring your phone for photos, communication, and documentation (make sure your phone requires a security code to open – not just face or fingerprint recognition). Bring your own sign or American flag, water, snacks, sunscreen, a wide brim hat for shade, and a folding chair if needed. Wear the colors of the flag – let’s make this a celebration of our country, our democracy, and our Littleton community.
Bathrooms will not be readily available. The Arapahoe Community College building will be open and they have public restrooms.
There is limited on-street parking available, and with the number of people who plan to attend, you may want to park close to the location where you join the rally.

Thank you again for standing up for American democracy. We look forward to seeing you at the rally! Let’s make it peaceful but powerful. We are indivisible and we support democratic governance, where we settle our difference with our voice and our votes.
This event is organized and hosted by Littleton Indivisible and HD38 Democrats.
