Liverpool stands together against UKIP's racism and fascism
LGBT+ Socialists
Liverpool has a long history of standing with the oppressed. Join us as we stand for love, justice, and solidarity - and reject UKIPs racism and fascism in our city as they attempt a so called "Walk With Jesus" protest march, while without permission - trying to use the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral as a rallying point. An action which along with the group's divisive message, has been condemned by the Archdiocese.

What the bible actually says:
π βI was a stranger and you welcomed me.β - Matthew 25:35
π βThe foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself.β - Leviticus 19:34
π βDo not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners.β - Exodus 23:9
Jesus always stood with the marginalised. He and his family fled violence as refugees (Matthew 2:13β15). The Gospel calls us to welcome, not exclude - to love, not hate - and to live our faith through justice and compassion, not self-richous performance.
β No space for fascism.
β No platform for racism.
β Solidarity with migrants and refugees.
Bring banners. Bring friends. Bring compassion. Bring love.
Liverpool stands together.
A reminder also for people to move together in groups, and to stay safe.
