Our marches and events in Livingston have grown in size. While 350 people attended Hands Off last April, more than 750 attended No Kings 2 in October. People who attend our events say they feel safe and are happy to be among so many others who share their values. We will meet near Park High School. Please arrive early so that you have time to talk with friends and neighbors and enjoy a sense of community. Around noon, we will begin marching and chanting toward Park Street. After standing for a while along Park Street with our signs and chanting, we will return to the High School. The total distance walked will be a little over one mile. A spot will be available for those who do not want to walk that distance. We hope you join us on March 28th to rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it happen right here in Livingston. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
