Trans* Self defense weekend

Casa Kuà

Trans* Self defense weekend 📅 13–15th march | 📍 La Bassa Mar We invite you to participate in a weekend dedicated to trans self-defense at La Bassa Mar! It will be a gathering for trans, inter, and/or non-binary people with the aim of learning, practicing, and sharing queer self-defense tools, regaining our collective strength and confidence. No previous experience is necessary! During the sessions, we will explore physical, verbal, and emotional self-defense, as well as strategies for setting boundaries and responding to everyday situations. All of this will take place in a caring environment where we can share experiences, resources, and mutual support. 🗓 Dates: 13–15 March 2026 👥 Participants: Maximum 18 people We especially encourage applications from transfems and BIPoC participants. La Bassa Mar is a self-organised space. Cooking, cleaning, and other shared responsibilities will be distributed collectively, responding to the needs of the group as they arise. Shared sleeping rooms, mostly with bunk beds Multiple indoor common areas and wide outdoor spaces The entire ground floor is wheelchair accessible If you have questions or specific accessibility needs, please reach out. 📝 To join, please fill in the sign-up form linked in BIO by February 20th. We are really looking forward to sharing this space of collective learning and care with you! The training will be hosted by Mio and a guest facilitator, both trans.
