You are invited to an evening of talks, music, art and poetry from the March to Gaza, the Global Sumud Flotilla and the UK protests. Join us in conversation with Leigh Cadno, a retired Welsh nurse activist, aid worker and Flotilla member currently touring the UK. Leigh will share with us eye witness accounts of powerful acts of nonviolent resistance. “Though I am no sailor I went on the flotilla to bring awareness to Gaza and Palestine.... We succeeded.” Come listen, laugh, cry and hopefully be inspired! This is not only a type of protest in solidarity with Palestine and the Palestinian liberation movement. It is also a fundraising event for the Yaffa health clinic in the Balata refugee camp. DONATIONS welcome! 100% of the proceeds will get through to the health clinic.
