Stand For Congo UK

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡© BOYCOTT iPHONE 17 – NO CONGO, NO TECH πŸ‡¨πŸ‡©

Take a stand on iPhone 17 in-store release day as we boycott Apple and expose their complicity in human rights abuses. We’re disrupting their sales, built on the backs of Congolese people and stained with their blood. πŸ“… Friday 19th September πŸ• 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM πŸ“ Apple Store, Regents Street, W1B 2EL The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is home to the world’s largest supply of cobalt and coltan, minerals that power our phones, laptops, and electric cars⚑ The world’s biggest tech companies β€” Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Dell, and Tesla β€” are complicit in ongoing human rights violations, resource exploitation, and genocide in the DRC ‼️ Congo’s mineral wealth fuels modern-day slavery and child labour. Congolese people are forced to work in hazardous mines under inhumane conditions, earning as little as $1 a day, without basic safety protections. These companies profit while turning a blind eye to unethical mining, smuggling, tax evasion, and corruption, all of which fuel the instability and suffering in the DRC. Apple is also complicit in Israel’s occupation and illegal settlements in Palestine and the forced labour of Uyghurs in China. Join us as we stand in solidarity with all those resisting exploitation ✊🏾
